“Quenched BCS-BEC fermionic superfluids”
Abstract
I will examine the dynamics of the BCS-BEC superfluids which were quenched (the parameters of their Hamiltonians suddenly changed). I will start with talking about the equilibrium behavior of the BCS-BEC superfluids and the BCS-BEC crossover. I will then discuss their dynamics if they are driven out of equilibrium by a sudden quench. If time permits, I will also touch upon our recent work regarding the Loschmidt echo in quenched superfluids. It turns out that the most straightforward way of calculating Loschmidt echo produces its simplified version, the “classical echo”, which deviates quite a bit from the full quantum echo. I will discuss how to approach correctly the calculation of full quantum Loschmidt echo in the fermionic superfluids.
