Jordi Boronat Medico elected new director of the department

The extraordinary meeting of the council department held on June 27 has chosen Prof. Jordi Boronat Medico, with 56 favorable votes and a 53.8% participation rate, as the new director of the department.

Jordi Boronat is Professor of the department in the reseach group Computational Simulation in Condensed Matter and currently coordinates the new Master's in Physical Engineering.

On the other hand, the ordinary council meeting of the department also approved the minutes of the previous meeting, the budget of 2019 and the teaching assignment for the next course. It also modified the regulation so that the new figure of Responsible of Research Outreach will be present in the research comission of the Department.
