Presentations of quantum research groups at the CCCB on May 21st and June 12th
May 09, 2019
As you may already know, the CCCB has organized the Quantum Exhibition, a show that provides the keys to understand the principles of quantum physics and does so through the joint creative work of scientists and artists. On the occasion of this exhibition, presentations will be made by research groups that are currently working on topics related to quantum:
- Tuesday, May 21, at 6:00 p.m.
II Day of Celebration of the World Day of Metrology. Organized by the Catalan Section of Metrology of the IEC
- Wednesday, June 12, at 6:30 p.m.
How Sincrotró Alba provides service to the Quantum World. Research in materials and surfaces, with Salvador Ferrer, assistant scientist at the direction of ALBA, and the presentation of two research examples: one on materials by Gervasi Herranz, researcher at the Institute of Materials Science of Barcelona ICMAB-CSIC, UAB Campus, and another on water by Jordi Fraxedas, researcher at the Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICN2), CSIC and BIST, Campus of the UAB.
In addition, there will be sessions related to quantum computing, which you will find on the CCCB website. All these activities are free, but prior registration is required.
