“Tensor Networks, from strongly correlated systems to numerical calculus.”

Abstract

I will present our new results on tensor networks, that show that they can be used both in highly entangled scenarios, such as the long-time dynamics of strongly interacting many-body quantum systems if appropriately complemented with other methods such as Monte Carlo sampling.  and for solving differential equations, such as e.g. the Gross Pitaevskii equation relevant to describe weakly cold atomic gases.
